Cinderella,
a gothic princess
full of hatred
and demise.
The true story unfolds
right before your eyes.
She had but 2 wicked step sisters
a mother she despised,
but she killed them off
she was angered by their pride.
She had scars,
from the self infliction
razor blades, sharp instruments,
even broken glass,
had become her addiction.
She hated all the towns people,
but she did attend the ball,
with her long black hair
fishnet pantyhose and plaid skirt,
as she stumbled down the hall,
in combat boots.
She walked amongst the people,
head high in the hair,
all they could do
was point, laugh
and stare.
But she didn't care,
She just came for the food.
she bumped into the prince
but didn't take notice
she wasnt in the mood
for meeting people.
She didnt leave at midnight,
nor did she marry a prince.
There was no pumpkin involved
and no mice were in sight
She made her own clothes
and drove a pinto..

Haha, this is fucking great. It's a fun read, and I think it's your best yet. My one criticism is that the end seems to trail off, whereas I think the poem would be the better for it if it ended with a punch. Either way, rock on!

An intensely sardonic twist on such an over saturated fairy tale... Impressing..

Haha. I LOVE this! Great job. Nice twists. I expecially love the pinto. Rock on. -Doll
