We shall melt lives into meaningless specks of ash
i stand here now, watching my own life burn
i burn
i smolder
i blow away with one puff, and off i am into the wind
lives change
people don't
i close my eyes
and let the sunset beat upon my face
a breeze swims through my hair
i take a step closer to the edge of the rock face
i look down
i am not afraid
i turn my back, take a step backwords, and dive
i fly like a feather, skimming the tree tops
i stop by to dance with a group of bears
kicking up leaves just to turn them over
for i am a dreamy pile of ash
i no longer have my past
nor my body
to hold me down and bind me
