I thought you loved me
I was wrong
You were lying all along
I finally gave to you my heart
Only to find it ripped apart
You knew how greatly I feared this
But you still told me, 'take the risk'
You told me that this love was true
And hurting me you wouldn't do
Yet I'm lying here in bed
And thinking of the things you said
And knowing that you never meant
The lies and all the shit you sent
I hope you're happy, hope you rot
I'm still in love, wait, no I'm not
But no matter who or what we blame
One thing still remains the same
I thought you loved me
I was wrong
You were lying all along
And like a fish, I took the bait
And all your love turned into hate.

(A simple poem that I had written before a particularly painful breakup...who knew?)

I must admit I relate to this piece. One of the most painful things I've had to go through in a while. Though now my heart is full healed. I am sorry for your pain hun. Always here if you need anyone. ^_^
