dreams
of perfect clarity
wake me
and torchure me
lingering
for days sometimes
grabbing me
at inopportune
moments
when the world is
quiet
making my throat
ache
and my teeth
clench
and my body
shake
while the dreams
replay
in my mind
again
and again
and again

i know this feeling much too well. I repress most of my past but it sneaks up on you as flashbacks, I hate it, hope you aren't having them anymore

cant believe i never commented on this one. you have a way of getting at things that i think about 9 or 20 times a day. I hate bad memories, but, that's probably why they stay.

i love this. i'll be (anywhere) and then the memory or the feeling of something not quite entirely containable in my head will jump out of the depths of my sub-head :-) and bite me on the brain stem. chills.
