I have started several times
and deleted, deleted
deleted
because I cannot do what you do;
I cannot escape my two cages -
my mundanity and
my Underworld -
to find wild&marvellous inspiration
in anyeverything.

Or,
at least,
i cannot express it properly.
No,
my cages are locked tight -
I am me
or I am a million.

Actually,
more precisely,
I am 153;
none of whom are me,
and at this moment
it seems
they are all asleep.

I do not tell
a good story
like you do -
again and again -
and
again,
nobody will know
what the hell
I
actually
mean.

What's the damn point
of imaginary worlds
if they won't do
as they're told?

Leviathan, speak to me.

If you keep this up,
I'll have to admit
that I don't make
much of a goddess;
and that would make
154 of me
quite
meaningless.

Inspiration is so easy to find, but even after you've found it, the hard part is writing inspired. This was great. Writing inspired about lack of inspiration, maybe. "What's the point..." That section was beautiful. Write on.

"I cannot escape my two cages" and that Poe-like tinntinabulation beat of "deleted, deleted deleted / again and again -and again" but this prose_verse is all you. And only you can speak with your own creations: "Leviathan..." as your sense, your pen,..

"I don't make/ Much of a Goddess" That line was superbly written, m'dear. Just a shock to the sense. Gorgeous poem.

~"Leviathan, speak to me"...that line's just awesome...meaning less and meaningless, a reflection of the persona's self...I can sense the feeling of being consumed...

"Leviathan, speak to me". Yes, sir, you have captured exactly what is meant inside this "two cages" piece... "in anyeverything." The numbers, of course, are the myth, the eldritch enigma... a superbly poetic work which means more than less, for certain...
