in my midsummer,
not the sky's cerulean silverblue shine
nor the blazingwild fury of the sun
nor the heat, this heat, this Endless heat
can stop the rain.

this monsoon season
reigns constant
humidheavy
and .h.o.t...

crimson hells and cobalt heavens
in united downpour
stain my soul
royal purple.

i carry a parasol heart:
it looks like a shelter
but it doesn't protect me.

your writing reminds me of e.e. cummings, probably for no other reason than that you are of equal talent, both absolutely genius :)

hate_doll I have to agree, despite purr having her own flavor, the analogy to cummings is accurate. they both master words in ways i can only dream about. :) leaves me in awe

after reading this, strangely, for me.. i found myself yearning for the rain.. a downpour to stain me, sweep me away ( i hope that doesn't offend you .. mm i'm paranoid)

offended is the last thing i could be... thank you. *smiles* no paranoia necessary.

*hesitates* well, there's some superlative talent nipping at your heels, and it's a subjective issue certainly, but i'm inclined to agree. oh...i think i promised to stop babbling praises... ah.. that'll be anytime now...

if i could be a 'monsoon season', your heart would be protected by an umbrella the size of heaven...the rains would soften, and, thus, the parasols would be more than just pretty ornates...
