On Sunday January 11th, 2004, Spiritus_Frumenti (344) writes:
stunning....your work gets more and more complex...funny you would name it Lupercal, isn't that some kind of roman festival or God?...

On Sunday January 11th, 2004, purr_verse (1483) writes:
Thank you! its literal meaning is "carnival of wolves." Yes, it's Roman, derived from their honouring of Lupercus (Pan). :) purr, metaphoric again

On Sunday January 11th, 2004, Spiritus_Frumenti (344) writes:
i like this piece so much i'm not sure if i can even articulate what i really feel about it, except that your work is becoming more complex which each post...-l-

the steady beat of this poem is refreshing. i like to see a good beat and this is amazingly perfect. I am not worthy of this.

You know...everytime I see a new work I jump for joy. I really enjoy reading you that much. This did not let me down. The wording...the staccato rhythm. All just simply fantastic. I was breathing hard by the time I was done reading this...

'teeth and tongue and mindseye vivid rend within erotic livid brilliant-twisted-aether-misted' Wow! What can I truely say about this line that is not already painted from your breath & brush. Bravo!

'distorted sense aborted !door! contorted rhythms' These are my feelings exact; senses aborted & distorted w/ your contorted rhythms beautifully layered in rapture, rape & reinvention of the poet's purrfect pen...now now now now

On Thursday January 8th, 2004, OLd SouL (848) writes:
I with sole on this.. to hear this reciting would rock. I like the way this was constructed as to be frantic and in your face.. No time to think just go with instinct. And the end, well... superb. :::OLd

A simply breathtaking work, with such phenomenal talent! A powerful package of writing, wrapped neatly in a genious design...-Methos

On Thursday January 8th, 2004, sole (117) writes:
Wow purr this was so staccato with imagery it really portrayed a frantic state of mind, well done there. I hope I'm reading it right, and if I am I'd have to agree that I have a few wolves I'd like to let in, regardless of my duty to ward them off. Mayb

On Thursday January 8th, 2004, sole (117) writes:
Maybe there is some duality in this, like coming to terms with yourself, or perhaps not but I guess it's open for interpretation. As always this is written like an absolute pro, and I would KILL to hear it recited. Excellent.

On Thursday January 8th, 2004, Inevitability (645) writes:
I've seen so many romanticisms of vampyre on this site, it is a breath of fresh air to see one with your talent take the case to the wolves...
