These painted iron butterflies
in ecstatic desperate escape through concrete forests
Newly libertine, crying liberty;
"Wir sind frei! Wir sind frei!"
Snapshot-frozen in sculptural release -
this unnatural nature
as orgasmic organic as
their silkenwinged light-as-air invertebrate models.
This shard of chrysalid broken
stands enshrined -
witness this
metamorphosis:
"Wir sind frei!"

- .slip.
.stream. -

always: forever: now.

The release is a trap - they're frozen - freedom is that capture of implied movement - we move, but we are still trapped there - so are they wings flapping eternally incessantly. We see the city in flight soaring

but we do not truly move from it - we move like organic butterflies - and yet frozen there as iron, forever free in those moments that metamorphise into all moments - the slip stream - the nature of time, to be one to be all encompassing

It is a final flight from - and yet into - as we move away we recreate - free like a piano movement to be reinterpreted a thousand times and all beautiful - frozen moments in flight...A codex to any city...marvellous.

,the best poems i cant really comment on,because the images and essence they conjure in my mind are beyond description, other than the poem itself, maybe you say it best, colours without names, this is a magnificent work of art

Such striking imagery, and so profound. "These painted iron butterflies", such an orignial way with words, such words that make your poetry beautiful and wise. Gorgeous. -L

'These painted iron butterflies in ecstatic desperate escape through concrete forests' Extremely powerful! Such eloquence w/ your poetic structures in composition...like music.

'always: forever: now...' as the beauty & eccentricities of your amazing poetic style flows in rhythmic concentric inversed circles...

Color me speechless. I've read all 4 parts purr and I just really don't know what to say other than it was my pleasure to read them. All I can do is admire it for what it is, absolutely outstanding poetry. Take a bow.

terrible and cold... like ice down the back.... ::shivers:: and bitterly beautiful, like the ruins in Germany on a winter's night.

Ohhhh purr, this is great! Especially the two paradoxes in the middle, forms a cool bridge. The ending too, is fantastic. I can't find anything I dislike about this, sorry.
