In this chaos smiling sweetly
In this hellhole call my name,
My voice, my love, my deadly ally,
Pride and joy and secret shame

You love to love like Aphrodite,
Love to love like death's caress,
Touch and smile and promise always
true and so you seem the best

of all the choices, all the time,
All the beauty, all the dreams,
The kiss of farewell, wave goodbye,
Another's bed to lose the screams

And in this chaos you deliver
In this hellhole I exist
And in your world I feature slightly
Playing darling masochist

And you keep saying how you need me,
You keep lying, you destroy,
And I can't stop you from this torture
Bringing on the death of joy

but there's a limit, dearest darling,
to my pointless trust pursuit,
So take your bedtime stories elsewhere,
My sweetest demon prostitute

So in this chaos I don't want you
In this hellhole ripped and torn
And memory, my only saviour,
doesn't listen any more.

I'm so glad that Peri commented on this today, otherwise it might be an old work lost in the archives. I love the fourth stanza especially. Amazingly written. --Jes

This brought a somewhat wicked smile to my face, the line "Another's bed to lose the screams" is worth a whole verse of words

A fantastic narrative of pain and pleasure ... and with extremely lyrical, flowing lines that seemed to bleed into each other ... nicely done!
