Complacency is beset

Swollen up inside
A rage from many lives died
Swallowed in the waking might
A thousand times
But still it strives

The ripples of a tearful plight
After many nights
I sought to find

Swell up to confide
Through the next life with me you’ll ride
Burried in the waning tide
But still it strives

A wise ness not known to exist
In such innocence
That corruption could not resist
I am facing this
“With a gun against your head and my name upon your lips, how could you ever, resist my kiss?”

Swollen up inside, swell up to confide
A rage from many lives died
Through the next life with me you’ll ride
Swallowed in the waking might
Buried in the waning tide
A thousand times
But still it strives

god i love your poetry...this one is no exception. I especially connect with the lines "A wise ness not known to exist In such innocence That corruption could not resist I am facing this"
