so she'll sit
and she'll cry
she'll watch the tears fall from her eyes
as she dies
a little more
every day
but she won't know
and she won't care
she'll always be the only one there
all alone
inside herself
inside her dreams
maybe it's better to be insane with the sadness
than to let the hope tear your sanity apart
and maybe it's better to shelter in the madness
than to let the world slowly crush your heart
so she'll bleed
she'll feel no pain
only the same old scars again
as she cries
a little more
every day
but she won't see
and she won't hear
cos she's too numb with all the fear
and she won't even
have the energy
to scream
maybe it's better to be insane with the sadness
than to let the hope tear your sanity apart
and maybe it's better to shelter in the madness
than to let the world slowly crush your heart
so she'll remember
times gone by
when she didn't have to cry
when she'd smile
a little more
every day
and she'll think
and she'll dream
of everything that could have been
of all the love
and all the laughter
now destroyed
maybe it's better to be insane with the sadness
than to let the hope tear your sanity apart
and maybe it's better to shelter in the madness
than to let the world slowly crush your heart
so she'll bleed
for one last time
and she'll say her last goodbyes
to the dark
and to the lies
and to the hurt
and she'll pray
for the end
she'll hope that death can be her friend
and she'll know
that she will soon be
out of hell...
**i know suicide is nothing like this. and maybe i'm glorifying it or whatever. but this just helped the way i felt at the time so i thought i'd post it anyway.**
