The world is changing and maybe
we won’t need poetry in the afterlife
we will release our emotions into
eachother a rush or lust and then
everything here is wonderful
I’ll never ask you about love
it won’t be important and maybe
that’s why we wouldn’t use poetry
because words would be failing me
in comparison to you.
