I am gaining a new perspective,
In which I can see my life
Spinning out in fragments
From it’s center.
And as I desperately attempt
To gather up the out-flung pieces,
Myself mirrored among them
The effects of my actions
Numbered by thousands
The infinite possibilities –
Astounding and terrifying.
Overwhelmingly numbing.
Every act creating a universe
Of multiple reactions
