WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!!!!
WHY DON"T YOU ANSWER!!!!!!!
I am the one who has been FORSAKEN!!!!!
You have closed your eyes to me
Though I reached out to you

I turn my back now
I will handle this on my own

Walking deeper into the fire of torment
I cease all prayer

I thought you existed
I thought you cared

How could you make me bare all of this?
I am human
I am not strong
It is so heavy
this feels so wrong

I turn my back now
You will never see my tears
The lashes on my chest
have been there for years

All the times I cried out
LORD TAKE THIS OFF OF ME!!!

Fallen
on
deaf
ears

So I turn my back now
If you are even there
I walk to the darkness
I will look for solace there

There must be relief
from all my shame
I must have comfort
I must have pain

WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME!!!!!

I cry out in tears
like your son did
remember?
that day on the cross?

I remember
The stories they told me

They all believe
as I believed
so long ago

So I turn my back now
so you can not see my shame
and walk deeper into the fire
and bear my own pain

I know the feeling only too well. Try to remember one thing, though: He will help you when you truly need it. God (or whatever you choose to call your deity of choice) doesn't answer all prayers because He wants us to help ourselves when we can. Find strength in that, and only ask for help when you really need it. But be thankful always. That's how I see it anyway. Nice write, man. :)
