Sitting here waiting
Waiting to see you walk through that door
It has seemed like a life time since I last saw you
You are the one that shines light on my sometimes dark world
Finally after what has seemed like forever I see you
You're standing there tall, dark and oh so handsome
Your hair so long and nice in that ponytail
I just want to pull that ponytail holder out so bad
Run my fingers through your hair
Your eyes look as blue as the ocean
Dressed in all black, you know the Goth look
You and I see each other and our eyes lock
It's as if there is no one in the room but us
I feel your arms enclose around me hugging me tight
In my mind I'm thinking please don't ever let go
I would do anything just to kiss you right now
Sadly I know I can't, you're with her and not me
But tonight it's only you and me alone together
Your mind is set on me tonight with no thoughts of her to invade
How I long to feel your soft lips upon mine
We walk into the elevator to go upstairs
We find our seats, you sit behind me
I lean back to find your arms around me once again
The show starts, you get closer, holding me in your strong arms
I feel the warm air of your breathe on the back of my neck
Your singing, hearing your voice almost puts me in a state of ecstasy
God you're making this so hard not to just turn around
And make all thoughts of her disappear into the abyss
The night is almost over, why can't this last forever?
We've had our arms around each other the whole night
I don't wanna let go, no not tonight
Being with you has made me so happy
The show ends, you hug me goodnight
My eyes never leave you even as you walk out that door
You look perfect in everyway as you always have been
One more night that's all I want
To be with you would make me feel like I was in heaven
Please can I have just one more night with you?
