Standing outside in the cool breeze
In a line that's a mile long
Waiting for the doors to open
The doors open everybody rushes in
Half the people in the pit
Half in the seats
you look up at the stage
The curtain is closed
Awaiting a view of what's about to begin
The place goes dark, the crowd starts to cheer
The curtains open, fog has filled the stage
Strobe lights and multicolored light circle the stage
The band begins to play; the crowd begins head banging,
Throwing their fists up in the air
Watching the stage show thinking of nothing
Only thinking that you never want this night to end
The singer looks at the crowd requesting them to sing
You scream the lyrics as loud as you can in hopes the singer notices
What has seemed as only minutes is now the end of the night
Starting to play, the band announces their last song
The crowd roars for more
The band walks off stage while thanking the crowd
The building is still dark; the crowd knows this is not the end yet
The crowd starts chanting the bands name in hope they will play
Just one more song or maybe two
The band comes back for an encore
The singer points at you while singing like he is singing
Singing to you and only you
You cheer and then song begins to end
Guitarists throw guitar picks to the crowd
You jump hoping that you catch one as a souvenir
You leave the show in awe of this night
This night you will never forget
