My love is taking steps backwards.

Its taking over.

Giant steps backwards

Where I cannot even look back that far

To see you turn away

And walk without the sounds

Of heating yellow floors, smiling at you then

Through the windows that break on the dot

Of finding the right choice and skipping it behind.

You are a lover without the decent snap.

To cause you the ripple in the sand.

For you there is my kiss

Winds of 100 mph, waves of desert red

Coming in too clean

To wash away

The passerby

Passherby.
