Can’t I drown in this,
What you’ve buried?

When it hurts twice as bad,
Soaked with lies.
Let me die for it.
I still fall from this sleep.
When this isn’t happening,
You’re my only comfort.

In this dying heart, world of right now.
I am torn apart. For what we are.

::broken to the inevitable waking::

to this cold hard light, pouring through the blinds.

Privacy:
Behind our hands.

You never cease to be so beautiful.
Playing over and over again.
A shattered memory. Living out the last of its days.
Until you are gone from here.

I still fall from this sleep.
And when this isn’t happening
You are my only comfort.

"Can’t I drown in this, What you’ve buried?" enough to induce a trance.. "You never cease to be so beautiful. Playing over and over again." beautiful memory, icy cold.. i love the title, as well.

Second quote is my favorite, as well. This piece sounds like a personal, silent prayer. I wish I could see this person from outside, rather than hearing the story in the first person.

I could feel the pain in this, so much. It seemed quiet, delicate, seeping into your skin like rain. Wonderful write, I love this.

This reads like a deep wound bleeds...gathering in pools and spilling beyond what is fathomed.

Well said... the first part lost me once or twice, but after re-reading it, I think I understand better... your image of light pouring through the blinds was well done, and there's something dream-like/haunting about the whole thing that makes it awesome.

P.S. Please don't drown me. And don't die!
