The muted agony
Of lavender fields
They flow with the storm’s demise
The sun going out with the glow
Of an early summer fire
Dying under the wind
A kiss to the sand
“Goodbye again”
“I sold you the lies”
I thought its what I wanted
I was so wrong to fall
And tie myself to you.
Not losing it.
Not losing it.
Your name is everywhere
Written in its bitter frustration
Messiness in my emotional exploitation
Locked myself in the bathroom
Washed up on the sands of ‘goodbye again'
And wanting it so bad….
Again.
