You wouldn’t try
And I waited in the black garden
I waited for death
And so the rains, they kissed me
Somber in the winters grasp
Dying: a delicate array of loneliness
The sweetness decaying inside
I glow. And I burn out with the rest of me.
You took my hand, but pulled away
My whole existence
Of liquid sunshine
Cascading down my face
Turning into tears for you.

I will wait for you.
To come back and take me once again.

Mmm makes me wish someone would write poetry about me! And yet again, it makes me want to start writing again... grrr... stupid overworked-ness. Anyway, awesome poem... I like it a lot, it's more like your original style, but improved.
