Hear it break inside
Slowly drowning in the dark

For a while
This dream
Slowed the bleeding

But time will always come back
And do this to me again

Just take it already
Don’t leave me here
Alone without the fear

Consumed by your shadows

Enveloped by your breath

Lost in all the meaning

Of a vast love under kept

Waiting by the moonlight
Under silver and glass

Shattered pieces of sunlight
Reflects the bloody mess

That I am.

Hesitant to speak to you

Afraid of what might come first

The bullet or the bleeding

Might you be so unpredictable?

That I am your lady of mystery?

The black balloons

Pull far above

The jagged skyline

Dotting the blood ridden sky

A mess of ink

And we fell under
The stars and bees

Just under you
I am your lady mystery

A slave to your sharp
Words

Of excruciating pain
Straight down the heart of mine

For awhile I thought
I had lost
The right to remain
Completely

In poisoned by you

I fell as the black rose

Down into your never-ending abyss.

The words of this poem I think you've said before... but the images are particularly beautiful. Silver and glass, the black rose in the abysss, the stars and bees, the blood-ridden sky... very good stuff.
