I feel like a butterfly
Smeared upon fingers
Stained with my iridescence
Blurred sparkles that erase
All that I was and
Everything I hoped for
Lost, alone and colorless
I drift aimlessly forward
With no wings to guide me
Wondering at a world
Where beauty is destroyed
Without a thought towards cost
Is hate all there is?
Does wickedness
Touch everything?
Faint pink and blue glimmers
Remind me otherwise
But is it enough?
I yearn to see colors
I want to know the truth
Do you sparkle?
With a million colors
That defines you?
Or do you dare
Wipe away
All the color
That delineates the world
Leaving only smudges
Behind to erase
The pain that resides
Deep inside like me?
A beautiful butterfly defiled
Feeding on glittery remains
Shamed to be laid
So low, worse than evil
A cannibal thriving upon
Those of her own
Painting my lips with
A million colors, tears
That belongs to you
Can I paint your rainbow?
Will you let me
Lick your desires
Show you a love
A million times worse
Than you ever imagined
Crush your wings
Smear your colors
Devour you
