How dare you…
…beg me so earnestly
With tears shimmering
In your big blue eyes
Causing me to fold up
Painfully, shamefully
With the guilt
I place upon myself
For wanting just a little room
A little place to heal
Causing me to doubt
The things I need
To be whole again
Rushing to your side
To help with the hurt
That I inadvertently caused
I stumble upon your lies
Falling face down
In disgusting truth
I am not the only one
That will do
Any woman will achieve
What I thought was my right
Then somehow it gets
Turned around, twisted
I am once again to blame
Because I finally opened up
And asked for your help
Let me do this one thing
I need this…
I have got to find
…The truth
You go on ahead
I am sure she will wait…

got to stand your ground....it's hard depending on emotionally how you get involved with people, but you did the thing 'necessary'...explored through words the passage you needed to take. Bravio!!
