Why won’t your memory
Leave me alone, leave me in peace
Must I be doomed to repeat
This feeling every night
Recalling your luminescent face
And torturing lies
While I lie silently crying more tears
Tracing scars long ago healed
Still I beg the moon to take it away
Please, take this away
Let me rest finally
I can’t take much more
I just want everything to end
All my struggles, all my pain
I want to smile again
I want to enjoy the sunshine
I want to only be me
Broken but healing
But I’m not
I still go there every night
Still replay those haunting memories
That take away my sanity
In the shape of your features
When will my prayers be heard
How long will this last
Or is this like I thought
The love of a lifetime
Were you…you were

So heartbreaking. *sigh* A feeling felt throughout the world. If there's one common feeling everywhere that is timeless it's heartache.
