Today lakes of tears I have cried
Dead is how I feel inside
To the airport you came
With me on this most painful of days
We cried for hours
On each others shoulders
For a week no harm could come to us
Lost in happiness we couldn't be touched
Walks by the river under moonlight
Laying in each others arms all night
Warm embraces
Smiling faces
Your lips on mine
Our bodies intertwined
Watching movies
Just you and me
Talking until we fall asleep
Waking up and you're the first thing I see
Watching you put make up on your face
I felt I had found my destined place
We shared our hopes, our dreams, and our fears
Together we shed our burning tears
But the week came to an end
Now we will be confined to the phone again.
I walk through the gate towards my plane
Every step increasing my infinite pain
I can't help it I need one last look at my gothic beauty
So I turn back only to see you walking away
I want to run to your arms for safety
Wake up and see it's all a bad dream
Once again be in the comfort of your room
Away from this ever pressing gloom
I know at this point in time it can not be
But in the end it will be you and me
As for today
All I can see is you walking away
And another tear falls.
