Over dark mountains i walked
under gray sky's,
im living proof
that humanity is gods demise
as i looked to the south
I behold a pale horse
a rider clad in black
as death followed at my back
he whispered dark words
his voice bite like a snake
it tore into my ears
and forced tears from my eyes
But I stood my ground
as pain raged threw my body
I stood tall in defiance
as death looked at me.
And I siad,"Come death, you pungent woe,
take my being, and send me below."
the pain subsided
and it began to snow.
"Ill send you below
but you do not stand alone,
your power over mortality
will see you at the gates of hell"
"You see, your Christian brethren
would have died begging please,
the pain I brought you
would have had them cry out on the knees.
So death left me,
to live another day,
I was not about to die,
not the Christian way.
