Another day,
Another year goes by
Another word,
Another tear ran dry
Another minute,
another second
Won't still my hand
from sure destruction

Another person
Another dream
Ended swiftly
Quicker than it seemed
Another could have
Another will be
Another victim
Of society

Any more wreckage
Any more pain
Will lead our way
To the light again
A false prophet
A false light
What a suprise
Why do we fight?

Perhaps life is a candle
And my soul the Light
If that's the case,
I'll snuff it out tonight
I won't chase
The useless dreams
Of overcoming
A harsh reality.

I will settle for what I decide.

The last stanza was amazing. definately, an acceptance of reality, like magic said, like why dream of such unreasonable things, only to be disappointed in the future. "Perhaps life is a candle, And my soul the Light" - beautiful

I enjoyed the final stanza best especially: 'if thats the case, I'll snuff it oput tonight' ....a certain acceptnce of reality in this piece pervades the dream...interesting!!!
