You are the temples
from which we dream would come
our stick figured shaped sons
and we await you
our entire lives
for your air
as it may pass
through the fabrics of our sky
to completely miss
our fragile lungs.
No matter who you are
we shall always miss you - and dream of you
even though we may never know who you really are
in the outlying meadows of our fortresses
you lay
in our glass stretched lawns
ever so far
as far away as it could ever be
and slightly beyond,
from there, we do see you -
and we are left -
wondering - thousands of miles away
will you leave us - before we ever meet you
smothered, and sunk.
You are
In the purist of all water
falling upon our necks
breaking every wall we have ever built
melting upon our 4 tongues
you are the chests
that drive us to collect
our broad expanding treasures.
You are
The declarations of war
in which we assemble
to honor ourselves in death
which is more then less
if not with you
almost something important.
