70 million years from now
is when the equivalent .. of nothing .. happens
again, [today] .....

            As time gradually expands
            slowly reaching - towards everyone
we learn to compress our lives, and rush without question
into the pressure's ... of life's merciless hands
           never stopping to breath, breathless
the never-ending characteristics, of man, defined

i fear
that everything will be fore-gotten, completely erased
from our memory banks ... in the end
that is why, i must feel
and i must enter, the minds .. of everyone, that is why i cry
i wish to be remembered ... forever, by everyone
man's ambition, rebuilt, refined

After we've long since gone .... millions of years from now
[today]
imploding stars will step over the earth, exploding
throwing the last few crumbs of our existence
... our history ..
into external banishment
into the dry sands of space .gone. as punishment .

Self awareness ...will be forever lost
        with our once great culture
that was defeated in it's once great struggle
by it's greatest enemy of all [time]

  fiber globalizations
and the explorations of 5th dimensional technologies
physical energies and re constructive sheet metals
  dissolved

The speed of time would have been considered once again
        to be the formal carrier
in which the speed of light descends

  I sink beneath the surface
into an alcove of binding torment
  where these thoughts stick
to walls of my mind like pictures
  across a valley
  and onto the top
  of a 40 story building
  i lay, looking down
upon the gods, that walk with gravity in their pockets.

I believe, that most of us have fore-gotten,
what's truly important, as we burn, everything down around us
       turning everything into fortune.

All along ....... we've been mistaken
  we are nothing more
  than that person we imagined
and i shall fall from here ... and land upon them
to show them what they've feared,
  as our civilization rehabilitates
  in a hologram machine
  driving away the day
to end, 70 million years from now
  [today]

But what's the point of being remembered by a society that won't be remembered by a world that doesn't care and will cease to exist as quickly as it begins. Ah...these thoughts are depressing...

Oh my doc....I seriously have no idea what to say. All I can say is that, you are someone, you do matter, a hell of a lot more than you know. Sure the universe is one big mass of nothing all mixed in, and it's easy to think that you are meaningless in it,

On Wednesday July 2nd, 2003, Six-Out (1822) writes:
and sure it may not all matter in the end, but keep in mind, and always remember, fuck the end, you matter now in more ways than you can imagine, and that's all that really matters.

Absolutely awesome write, I can't believe such words could be put together. This is a poem that I will hold onto, I know the feeling very well, but yet not as you worded it, I could never be that creative.

i agree with cre... this write is despondant, and resigned to be so... and you matter a great deal. you are inspiration, you are art... and the world needs to see the fire that's in you, and realize there's more to life than what they comprehend...

On Wednesday July 2nd, 2003, Bast (902) writes:
the universe whirls on, but in this section you are noticed, and we listen, Doc... i would never want to listen for your voice, and find it gone... voices such as yours are rare and precious.

i love how you say that 70 million years from now is today... it reminds me of one of the theories in "awakening life" where they say that time does not exist and that our whole existence is merely one single second in the universe.much respect.
