what is it that you want me to do ...

do you want me to drift into your mind
to get to know every little thing about you
so i can be on your side
when everything turns against you

do you want me to break everything in this room
and scream as loud as i can
that i love you
or do you want me to whisper in your ear
"i would never ever leave you"

do you want me to hold you,
to trust you, to protect you
or do you want me just to be there
when you need someone to talk to

what do you want me to do
i just want to cry for you
