.
Her pale white face
is in ambiance
blurred over by two black blots
of over-sized eyes and foam.
She travels through her apartment
with her ears
torn and borrowed from mistreatment
she sulks
as she twiddles her thumbs
sitting alone with her binder of poems.
The bodies of her two empty shoes
are filled with a ghostly presence
on the floor of her darkest room
next to a mountain of cloths
covering her phone.
She blinks her eyes once again
as she stares off into an empty page
occupying only her thoughts
with the few smudges
of her eraser crumbs.
And it’s unfortunate to know
that here I’m sitting also
dreaming of someone just like her
to one day come along.
