A sudden blur and a wave of feelings warms over.
Then drifting father away from the sounds you hear.
Oh and the sounds, the loud beating music
enticing and inviting you, what a shame for traveling away so.
A never quenching thirst, without ever wanting a gulp more
burns within you. Air is more life like then the words
buzzing past you at intense frequencies.
People around you, you love,
people around you, you hate.
Earth and time being up rooted at once
so many mystical and frightening sensations
words escape meaning and touch rules all.
Reaching a climax of utter joy,
you swear no moment could ever succeed such heights.
Bother.
Time slowly diminishes into pace
and sounds and words gain interest, even if
they are high pitched. The breeze grows cold
nerving to the bone, in a depressing manner.
A new ungraspable feeling blankets over the scene,
and it is not as whimiscal as the first.
Slowly innocent pains reveal themselves for what they are,
A pulled muscle here, a black bruise there,
and perhaps an aching jaw of sort. A rush of sadness
swallows that last drop of thirst.
Bother,
Perhaps the span of happiness will endure longer
next time.

I don't know why this is the only comment on this piece... it's like being there, watching or participating in the scene you are describing... I say you don't get the recognition on here that you deserve..._Raven
