um... this is a little blurb of mine that's ment to be heard, not read, but you can give it a try.
I walk through this town
Oh this
This
Oh this empty town.
Pounding footsteps, footsteps pounding,
Against a cold sidewalk that knows no story.
And maybe if i could have my way, I could wake up to be somewhere else tomarrow morning.
I run for freedom, and my footsteps,
Pounding footsteps, obscure the silence of this dark empty town.
Awakening footsteps
Alerting footsteps
Footsteps pounding
There's only one place I want to be tonight.
A place where I can be free.
I want my footsteps to lead me out of this town.
I want my footsteps to stomp on the oppresion of you tall buildings
And your corporate lies
And your racism
And your sexism
And your descrimination against those who want to be free
And those who want to be happy
And those who want to live; to love.
We need some footsteps to stomp it all down.
And I'de feel a lot freer if I could tell someone how I really feel,
But I havn't, even though I know I should.
And it seems like this town has no meaning for me, and I have no use for it.
This isn't where I want to be!;
This isn't where I belong!
My awakening footsteps
My alertful footsteps
My footsteps pounding
Need to take me to a place where i can feel what it is to be free.
I need to feel freedom.
I need to be free.
