The scent of lavender
In the air
Caresses my ole factory
And wisps through my hair.
This purple tantalization
Induces thoughts so sweet,
Of delicate perennials
And the next time we'll meet
Embracing in a field
Under the sun
Or cuddling on a couch.
My thoughts run,
To memories of you
Curled up in my bed
To the last time we spoke
And the last thing you said.
In the scent of lavender
My memories of you exist
When you spoke so softly
Before the last time we kissed
I love You
I love You
I love You
In lavender
