As is often noted, virtue occurs in the most macabre settings
You were my angel from the night, covering me like a shadow
A sacrifice for your kind, a lost soul for you to borrow
An unbearable cross forsakened, as my sacred life deadens
Your nocturnal hair and paled skin, transposes these veins unhallow
Allowing your flames to scorch my throat with sensual bloodlettings

Drawn by infelt desire, surrendered now to the eternal beast
Your acute markings thrust on me, leave a tantalizing scar
Stalked with a new craving, sculptured from what you are
An animal shunned by the light, drown in demonic feast
We carried no chains of limitation, no spirit sealed in a jar
Beside you i felt reborn and secure, fully loved and pleased

Now you lie before me with a stake driven deep into your chest
Your secret uncovered by killers, ending a precious majestic era
Eyes swell in vain, my cold condemned body petrified with horror
Crouching over your lovely corpse, i taste your still seeping flesh
Such pain in a hollow heart, so to defeat this agonizing terror
I will join you by my own bloodshed, together we will be at rest

Awww .... this is very romeo and juliet. So sweet and sad. I think macabre is a VERY good word to describe this work. Well done :)

This is captivating, you word usage and phrasing bring pensive pauses and build tension up until the last stanza. It's a mystery how you stayed away from here for so long. Great write.
