I feel like a forgotten joke
Lost in the day's satire
Like my own life
Is merely a small part of the drama

Today squealed and scraped
Along my one track mind
And as it skids to an end
I'm left wondering once again

Questions concerning feelings
The feelings never questioned
And the perversions of love
Our psyche has donated
To their creator

I brought about this itch
The one never reached
Until tomorrow passes
And a new life begins

I follow this path headstrong
Blindly leaping into this pit
Diving into love
Infatuation
Loneliness
And lust
Are the guides of our parents
The reason we exist
And the cause of our pains

I say I feel a connection with another
But doesn’t that mean it goes 2 ways?

Disregard the thought of love
And you have a spiritual connection
Between to similar beings
On a chaotic planet
In an even more chaotic...
here

I suppose as I fall I have to trust
That when I reach the bottom
Of this lonely trek
To the bottom of our very beings

I wont be alone

This is the first poem in a long time that I felt really got to the heart of authentic introspection, with all of it's agonizing loneliness, pain, and questioning. Well written (I'm adding this to my favourites)!
