Everything that I’ve cared about-
Does not regard me in the same way
Much like the Sun over the mountains
Sometimes wondering-
Why they never glance at the sky once and again

Oh savior,
Take me into your blessed hands
Show me the wonderful magnificence above
Lying beyond what my mind has searched for

Everything that matters has been dying away
Much like the leaves in autumn
Sometimes wondering-
Why the wind doesn’t stop to ask if it feels pain

My lord,
Cleanse my soul from this malignant essence
Of this irreproachable caprice not willing to extend
To your graces,
From such solemn places
As these foreboding origins remain

Everything that has been promised no longer lives
Much like the light of stars
Sometimes wondering –
Why it has to exist so far away into the dark....

The words and phrasing you use almost makes this more of a ‘last chance’ plea, while not compromising the remarkable atmosphere they create! Awesome Work Of Art!

still coming back to this. .. resonant, stripped of all pretense. .. and it still moves, it still cries FOR me. ..pleads for grace. ..

this is quite remarkable. i felt a calm, something about it makes me feel good. i can't say anything else, because i don't know what i can say that express these thoughts and emotions stirred by this piece. bravo.

Oh this was magnificent. I loved the last stanza. The beauty of a stars light, yet so far away but lives in the dark so you could still see it. Oh Wow. Im still in Awe. ][ ][

Great write... you take sorrow, hope and uncertainty and fuse them together in a blend that overwhelms you with emotion... fantastic.

I could cry at this, such emotion, such brilliant expression...There are few poets in this world who can bring such brilliance and sorrow together...My utmost admiration as always...
