All I feel,
...nerve endings of detachment
Cold departures into obscurity
An unknown, far too real
Too much for this fragile world to hold
-
Tell me, my friend,
Of those sun rays beating against my eyes
Does it know about life?
Does it know about fate?
-
Tell me, my friend,
Of those winged birds in the sky
Do they know about love?
Do they know about hate?
-
Tell me, my dearest friend,
Of those illuminating spots in the night
Does it ever wonder why it’s so dark?
Does it ever dream to escape....?
