Currents bellowing unseen,
Deep within forgetfulness
Flowing to an unknown infinity
Destined to approach an end
-
Tugging deep at the heart
Wishing to set ablaze
Moments,
Where there is air to respire
And wind for birds to fly astray
-
Eating at the soul
Wanting to devour
Moments,
Where there is innocence to protect
And smiles on a person’s face
-
Reaching beyond the embrace,
Compelled to break apart
Moments,
Where life cheats death
And after it all there is still reason for faith
-
Hidden beneath the fabric,
The opposite side of the glass,
Consuming pictures of nothing
Rapidly flicking past
Crashing into waves of silence
Candlelight burning
Wax forming a lake
Under a fog turning,
Where it is concealed within
The mist of a cascade
Of a world that is weeping
All of its beauty away...
