While the overcast of a lucid moon
Awakens a dark and a weeping
While the silver knife carves a wound,
By whose will are you really bleeding?
-
Those that stand watching
The drips interrupting the silence
Long lost in the moment
Passing by like nothing has happened
-
My God, is it just me?
Is it just my eyes that deceive
The wisdom from which I seek
And devoid of it all
Through an error in perception
Or a flaw from your world?
-
My God, can?t you feel?
How the life streams from the veins
Of those unfortunate ones
That just want to find,
A place from where to begin....?

Every time I read you, you blow my mind, then I kind of stare dumbly comprehending everything I've just read, and it's all beautiful too. Every.Single. Word.

is it then in the loss of blood that one can truely be reborn? in the bodies fight for replacement, is something spiritual reincarnated?rendered wondering.

Hauntingly beautiful. The imagery is so vulnerable, yet so sharp, piercing. "By whose will are you really bleeding" . . a mesmeric, thought-provoking write. Excellence..

"My God, can?t you feel?" ... I have often found myself asking the same. "Why can't you see" ... Meaning the same. I think it is more of a static question. Once you ask it, it becomes a thing to live with, or/and die. I do not think it too morbid to say.

On Saturday August 28th, 2004, Nadir (615) writes:
The theme is universal in suffering, it(the feeling) can be applied to any situation of human behavior where backs are turned. Or eyes closed of all kinds of reasons. The feeling is the same. I applaud you for conveying it so well. -Nadir-

Hmm... I'm deathly tired of cutting. I like the title, though, and you definitely have talent in style and structure.

On Saturday August 28th, 2004, Nadir (615) writes:
It is hard to take a person serious that day after day comment about style and structure, while not being clear on why he like a simple word in his comment. If it is the context to the poem or just the word itself.

On Saturday August 28th, 2004, Nadir (615) writes:
Originality, shallowness and style. These are subjects that should be touched with care, and certainly go both ways when being a reader to a writer, or writer to a reader.

You sir, certainly do not wield the ability of giving what you request in one of these ways. If you do in the other is not yet known to me. I am sorry to write this here, but this has annoyed me. -Nadir
