A silent heartbreak is the one that never happens
It is the loss of something that was never there
Something your soul gave birth to and died

A silent heartbreak is why everything looks like shattered glass
Like the world is broken and only your eyes can see it
Like it’s hopeless to feel anything but sad

A silent heartbreak is knowing that God will never understand
Why love is such a lonely feeling
Why our longing and the silence is all we have sometimes….
