flying high in my mind
me and you are intertwined
although i always leave behind
the worlds reality

it's perfect when i leave this place
all my worries are replaced
blissful thoughts i do embrace
the only time i want to live

nothing matters when i'm there
you're with me and we're a pair
you can imagine my despair
when i come back to the truth

we're still not talking in real life
and i still don't know if i did what's right
so i go out and buy my next delight
my temporary shangri-la

i'll see you in a little while
in my mind we'll fly in style
you'll kiss me everytime i smile
and i'll cry when i come down
