My Daughter's Eyes, posted by SilentStalker
Author's Note
"My Daughter's Eyes"

The beginning of the end of my evil phase. This is the third of a series of poems that marked my transition back to being a positive factor in society in general. Written as a promise to someone who wouldn't leave me be until she got a good poem out of me.

Mind you, this wasn't necessarily written for anyone in particular. I wrote it as a wish, a dream of sorts of what it would be like to have someone that touched my heart in just the right way, that I'm able to see a real future when I look in their eyes. I never thought it possible for me to actually find someone like that, however. But Life has surprises in store for each and every one of us...
