"The Chainsaw Show"

To be completely honest, this was written because some readers of mine in the Army were getting tired of me writing about killing people with axes and knives and the like. So I decided to write about killing someone with a chainsaw. That shut them up--or maybe just showed tham that no matter what, I was gonna write about killing people at the time.

Some people don't seem to like the cliche line I use in this one. What they don't realize is that the cliche line was there for comical effect--in almost every circumstance, everyone who got to that line either cracked a smile or just started laughing. That was the beauty of it, and that's why it stayed there regardless of criticism against it.
