This Ring, posted by SilentStalker
Author's Note
"This Ring"

Written whilst staring at a specific ring (anyone guess which one?). An attempted rhyme scheme that I hadn't used very often, as finding four rhymes like that can be a bit of work sometimes. The story itself is solid, full or vengeance and detail, and fortunately fictional. This took the basic human emotions and brought them to life. Not my favorite, but definitely one that I hold a bit of pride for.

I must confess I'm Guilty

I just can't get enough

When non-members get pissy

That they can't read my stuff.

So go ahead and hate me.

Break down and have a fit

If your dumb ass could log in

You wouldn't get this shit!!

Oh, dude, I really, really like this one. I had thought from the title it might be a twist on the whole "With this ring, I thee wed" thing but it was even better than that.

From such hate, you bring such a wonderful piece. Your string of words make it sound like a beautiful song. You almost make me feel guilty.

Darun, your anger and pain are like diamonds in the rough, they are sharp and jagged on the outside, but beautiful and pristine on the inside. I sound like such a pansy sometimes.
