Author's Note
"Carnivorous"

NOT written during my dark phase. This was a creation way before that, while in high school. I was heading into 11th grade, and decided to show this to the teacher I had during my freshman year. Her only response was "That was morbid!" which took me aback at first, but then she explained that it was definitely well written and structured, but it freaked her out thoroughly. She told me to never show her something like that again. Well, I never did, but I'm glad I had it in me to get to people at such a young age.

This was the first time I had the idea that targeting a female subject in my write would help make my character seem just that much more evil and heartless. And no, I still can't figure out what the fuck I was imagining about when I wrote this; the fact that nothing seems to place correctly adds to the mystery, which in turn convinces me that I didn't fail with this one.
