Sitting on this roof top
Throwing rocks at rats with wings
Praying that they band together
Grasp me with their little bird feet
And drop me
Down
Down
Down
Plummeting towards hot asphalt
I would thank them
For being so merciful
I would praise them
For caring enough to defend themselves
From the monster that is me.
I would love them
for granting me this bitter sweet
release.

lol interesting write. I like the idea of the rats sprouting wings and forming an army to strike back at the striker. Cool stuff. ~Ship!

"rats with wings"... you got to love that! your work is so raw and emotional that you have hooked me like a fish... and that's not an easy thing to do!
