Prove me wrong
And let it go
Watch it drift
As your fingers loosen
Around my throat
And let fall your tears
Of regret and apology
As I gasp for a saving breath
but if I where just a candle
And my life where just a flame
Your sighs of self pitty
Would have snuffed me out
A long time ago
