In hushed desperation fell,

a silence I could not dispel.

Against mine heart, and all her sorrow,

a will from thee, I could not borrow.

To stay mine soul from a dire rend,

so into thine mind I could transcend,

and seek you out, there within,

crawling underneath your skin.

Of hearts and hopes, to lost to find,

sinking down into your mind.

Beauty has a splendor there,

though its cluttered with despair.

And, StrangeLand love, is love obscure.

a disease to which there is no cure.

But death, ah yes...a remedy,

to which there is consistency.

And fear not, if StrangeLand love should spire,

upend your thoughts, and your desires.

For if this love should overtake you,

and it's cruelty, yet, should break you,

Death, can cure, your sorry state,

for if your dead, your heart can't break.

i liked the break. stunted rythmm is great, shows the flaws in human nature. keeps things exciting makes you want to look around that corner once more. i really liked the dark fable effect and the end was most final. only question i have is, 'a disease to which their is no cure.' did you mean to say their or there? just want to know how to read it. thanks. intriguing write.

Wonderful write, I enjoyed reading this very much. My only critique falls to the one place where you broke rhythm "But death, ah yes...a remedy, to which there is consistency. " Other than that it was great, I've always admired your work.
