sometimes i smiled just for you
and the only truths within my grasp
contained a steady and defined
vision of you and i
for always

but its
better by far that i should let you go
when my disease could never be so kind

of sorrows plague and self pitty
an addiction that felt, oh so good.

there is no joy in pain anymore
just pain and pain and hurt

my irrational self destruction
emotional reconstruction
tore down
those four walls
and rebuilt this fortress

but i cannot touch you through
these prison bars
what will keep me safe
has kept you out

but its better by far
that i should let you go...

(not in the mood for spell check ill get to it later)
